The train leaves at 8:48 a.m. from Grand Central, so we should meet at the station by 8:25 or 8:30. Grab your breakfast from Zarro's and meet near the information booth. Make sure you have a MetroNorth bike pass and buy a one-way off-peak ticket to White Plains.

The weather forecast is now getting a little iffy for Saturday, so watch the message board late Friday or early Saturday for an update.

Ride end?

Carol,

Where does this ride end - at a Westchester train station, or do you ride back into the city? Just curious.

Thanks,
Tony

Ride ends back in Manhattan. (We'll come across the Broadway Bridge and do one last short climb up Bennett and 181st.)

Sounds good

Thanks. Well, if we manage to get a Saturday without rain, snow, sleet, or gale-force winds, I'll plan on joining the ride.

Unless it's actually raining...

...at 8:00 a.m. we're heading out. We might get spritzed on, but I don't think it's going to be real rain until later in the afternoon. Meet at the info booth at Grand Central at 8:30 with one-way off-peak ticket to White Plains.
