Over the river and through the nabes to Oceanside we go. We take uncommon Brooklyn/Queens streets en route to Peter's Clam Bar in Oceanside. Nice ocean vistas coming back through the Rockaways, then we ""urban adventure"" back to Manhattan.

If you want to stop at a Trader Joes (either in Oceanside or Hewlett), bring panniers or a backpack, but be prepared to pedal your ass off keeping up with the extra weight. Bail points via LIRR or ten miles later at the Rockways via the ""A"" train.

Ride will end at the Manhattan side of the Manhattan Bridge. To those who finish, I will reveal the location of my favorite chinese fast-food-hole-in-the-wall supplier of greasy delights.

Bring the usual plus a LIRR pass and check the boards for last minute updates.
