Absolutely Real
It's absolutely real - they auctioned some off in various age categories (concurrently) a few years ago also. That time, the highest price was approx $34K.
This time, they're not restricting each slot to any particular age category and are offering one at a time - $33K+ bid with 18 hours bidding still to go!
The good news is the proceeds go to a local charity.
