"Check this out. Also note the redesigned Six13 -- they must have been listing to me on that! The SI crankset will be available with an SRM option, but pricy."
Cannondale Full Carbon
Proudly made in Taiwan, PA! :)

This is also rumoured and if true is a sad thing.
Not rumored; confirmed by two LBSs I've spoken to.
Doesn't bother me in the least, though. They make lots of fine things in Taiwan. Treks, Williers, Scotts, Giants, Colnagos and so on.

Its not your job that is being outsourced...
Nothing wrong in that. Most things carbon are made in Taiwan. Even many things we believe come from Italy.
Gimme a Parlee, please. Or one of these:

How many grams lighter (or heavier) is it to your current machine?
My CAAD8si (not sold in USA) is lighter than both, but not by a huge amount.
I did some loops in CP today and hooked up with a racer on the McLagen Team (hadn't seen this team name before). I may have misunderstood the guy but he said that their team bikes are CAAD8. He also got a 2005 six-13. So, I would guess they are coming into the country slowly, or perhaps in this case, straight from PA.
CAAD8 bikes are sold in this country. CAAD8si bikes are not. The diffence is in the bottom bracket and crankset configuration. CAAD8s use either an FSA or Dura-Ace crankset. The CAAD8si uses the sweet Cannondale Hollowgram crankset (lighter, stiffer) and an integrated BB.
