"Hello,
Since there is no BSIG today I figured I might as well do some paperwork and go online and fill out the form for the Bike permit. Does anyone know if it necessary to fill out the section "" I plan to use my own permit between __________ and ___________ stations.""?

Here is the link if anyone needs it.

Thanks

Commuters

"That must be a new line on the form - I don't remember filliing it out any of the three times I've gotten bike passes. I think it's for commuters. Leave it blank or fill in ""between Grand Central and various""."

The website says I can apply online for the permit, but I don't see any way to send the form (or provide credit card info). Am I missing something?

The Check's In The Mail (or it will be)

If you scroll down on the MTA webpage cited by Jonathan you'll find this instruction:

Please complete application and mail with a $5.00 registration fee (check payable to Metro-North) to : MTA Metro-North Railroad, Station Services, 420 Lexington Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10017.

Apparently it's not an online purchase, just an application.
