What would you do???
Here’s the challenge. For the past year we have had some great programs at our monthly meeting [so I’m told!] and substantially increased attendance.
This has really added to the fun of the monthly meetings.
Now we want to wretched it up a couple of notches
by adding to the fun, interest and excitement of the programs.
This is your opportunity to weigh in with your ideas.
So what do you think would make more members come and participate on a regular basis?
Let your imagination run wild. This is a brain storming session and there are no bad ideas [just some we won’t dare use]. Everything is open to discussion including venue, set up, equipment, etc. everything, that is, except raising the price. Let’s do this together.
You can post on mess board or e-mail me directly at [email protected]
It’s your club….participate.

Programs

How to deal with a traffic citation.

Invite two or three practicing attorneys to discuss the options available to a cyclist who receives a moving violation traffic citation.

Invite, also, a representative of the NYPD to give the NYPD policy about cyclists and traffic violations.

Then, publish a precis, edited by the participants, in the NYCC Bulletin.

your program ideas

it is not at all surprising to me that the first to step up to the plate and offer a program suggestion is former president, life time member and the ever vigilant in his interest of the club, george kaplan. thank you george. now, that's one down 1834 members to go. it doesn't have to be a program idea but an idea that would make members wants to come to the meetings on a regular basis [as many do].
what are your ideas?
