Tomorrow's B ride to Westwood is cancelled. There is still a lot of ice on the streets, and the forecast temp for 9am is 17 to 19 degrees - well below my cancellation condition of 32. When I was a younger man I probably would've ridden on a day like tomorrow, but, I either a) turned into a wimp, or b) acquired some common sense.

Winter Riding/Salt?
Ivy, regarding winter riding: what about salt on the roads? Do you wash your bike off every time you take it out in the winter, especially now when there is certain to be lots of salt on the roads?
