We look forward to using the backdrop of a light snow to inspire an approriate route. While the last couple of rides did not require a fat tire bicycle, this one might. A-18 pace will be strictly maintained.

approx. distance?

"John:

Do you know where you’re going tonight? I might join you guy(s) if I get out of work in time.

My speedometer started out sluggish this morning, then it went completely blank. So I won’t be able to cry out ""hey, I thought this was an A-18"".

BTW. The newly paved RSD is not so new anymore. Some holes are so deep you can actually see the dirt underneath. There are a couple of those clunky imbedded metal lane reflectors being knocked around on 135th.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

The Route

If all is planned -- assuning light snowfall -- I hope to take a rare moment and first ride on some of the few dirt paths in CP, only becuase nobody will be aroung. Then head up to the Cloisters, then decide were from there. We take two hourts of riding.
