Try the Rockaways
FYI, there's a nice little pizzeria on the west side of Beach 108th St., south of Rockaway Beach Blvd. near the shore. Delicious, pungent marinara slice for $1.75.
Movie trivia: The toll booth on the Cross Bay Bridge is where Sonny got mowed down in The Godfather, sez John. Wouldn't have happened if they had E-Z pass.
We caught the R train at Forest Hills at dusk. Tim McWebmaster gets credit for the route.
