i know it's still early, but i want to put out feelers to see if anybody still in town wants to ride saturday morning instead of sunday. saturday at 9:00 will hopefully be above 25 degrees, my usual cut-off. sunday morning sounds like around 20. that's just too friggin' cold.
of course, this could all change in the next day or two.
who wants to still ride??
todd
sunday winter series ride pushed up to saturday
Now the forecast has changed again - Accuweather's saying Sunday's the better day (as if they know). Saturday (Christmas day) isn't an option for me. Friday's another possibility?
i'm just going by the morning temps. it still sounds like sat. morning will be warmer than sun. morning. but now both mornings sound too cold!
i might want to do a ride friday. let's see if others post.
Up for a ride on Friday.
I'm up for a ride on any of those days, Todd, if it's not going to be much faster than yesterday's ride. In any case, i know my way around so it's no big deal if i drop off, but like to know what i'm getting into. . .
What time should i meet you at the bridge?
but i'm wondering, if it freezes overnight then the rodes might not be good tomorrow...
now it looks like it may be at or above 25 degrees (my usual cut-off) for both sat. and sun. mornings. anybody out there want to ride sat. to nyack, maybe leaving the gw bridge at 10:00 am?
my regular sunday ride from the boathouse at 9:00 am will be on if the temps. are at 25 or above. i'd rather have people call me in the mornings since the computer doesn't get turned on yet. call 212-316-9430 if any questions about saturdays or sundays ride. i'm up early.

btw, today's ride was great. thanks for all who showed up!
I was only 30 minutes late. How come you didn't wait for me?
I did however see the four of you whiz past in Piermont, where I was enjoying a cup of coffee in the window at Bunbury's. (Nice cafe--bike-friendly owner--delicious house coffee served in a pretty stoneware mug. Lots of reading material too!)
It was an invigorating day to be out--thanks for the motivation even if I couldn't get there on time!
carol, we saw the lonely bike out front and was wondering who it could be. maybe you could make it another day this weekend.
Mid-50s predicted! Todd, any chance of doing another Sunday ride on Friday?
Note to self: remember it takes 50 minutes to get to GWB from Midtown.
I will ride tomorrow if i am able to get up after a late night of caroling and servicing the faithful. I'll assume 10:00 at the GWB if nobody posts otherwise. Thanks for today's ride -- it was invigorating!
Increasing clouds is the forecast & plenty cold. I'm riding for certain. Todd or anybody else up for it?

On Time...unless i'm in need of sleeping in(although i don't think so), but i'll probably call in the morning...see ya
