i had a wreck on a carbon fiber giant, and the metal cable guide was basically sheared off...the company and bike shop has never seen it happen and aren't sure what to do...has anyone heard of this happening/or know of how to repair? frame is not damaged otherwise. thanks

cable guide
If you still have the cable guide, crazy glue it back on. It won't affect the carbon structurally at all.
