Does anybody know if you can get to the Statue of Civic Virtue by Subway?

(I wonder what a statue of civic virtue would look like:
A guy not spitting or playing a boom box?)

"Statue of Civic Virtue, Queens
To get there by subway, take the E or F train to Union Turnpike. Exit towards the front of the train. Once through the gates at the token booth, go left (towards the front of the train) and left again to exit at the ""court house."" The statue is right at the top of those stairs.

WOW this is really great. After todays ride I really wanted to ride on Sunday. Here I am wishing there might be a nice ride out to Oyster Bay. Guess my luck is turning around. See ya there.
