What is going to happen? Will it be fun?

It will definitely be fun! It involves biking or walking, 30,000 people, free t-shirts, snacks, and other give-away items! The American Cancer Society is looking for 50 marshals on bicycles to help control the route for the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday morning Oct. 17th. Please contact me if you or someone you know would like to help with this event as a route marshal or a walk participant! Thank you! Lisa

Do you have to be a member of the New York Cycle Club to be a marshal?

Oct 17h Bike Marshals

Since its a walk dealing with womens' issues, shouldn't the marshalls be women?

"Actually, thousands of men die of beast cancer every year too. While it is true that women account for 99-99.5% of breast cancer cases, it would be dangerous to think of this terrible disease as a ""women's issue.""
