Does anyone in bicycle world know where can find map of NYC
that shows elevations? Something that indicates where and
how steep the city hills are?

"You can also try some of the mapping software. I have ""Back Roads Explorer"" from Nat'l Geographic that gives me elevations. You can pick this up for $50 or $60. DeLorme is another commonly used package. If there's a particular NYC ""summit"" that you're interested in (that's not in the link provided by R. Grey), send me an email.
