I'll be in the city this weekend, and wondered if anyone else would be up for a B16-18 ride on Sunday? I don't know the area well enough to lead a ride, but I'd love to accompany anyone who's planning to go out. Thanks!

Saturday--No, Sunday

Oops, never mind, I misread the message, I thought Heather asked about Saturday but she asked about Sunday...

Sunday Ride

Right now the weather looks iffy for Sunday but if the forecast changes, I'd be up for riding. 17/18 would be fine. I have routes that cover anywhere between 50 and 75 miles. Let's keep our eyes on the forecast.

July 4th B Ride

Looks like the weather might hold out for at least a 50 or 60 mile ride (or further depending on conditions)...assuming we leave at 8 instead of at 9. I'll post another message Saturday night or very early Sunday morning.

July 4th ride

Looks like Mother Nature is smiling down on us for Sunday so the ride WILL happen. We'll meet at the boathouse at 8:30am and discuss the destination. I have a few terrific routes and will bring cue sheets. The pace will be 17-18 and we'll hold to it so nobody will be dropped. Helmets, two water bottles and pocket food please. Oh yes...and bring an extra smile in case anyone shows up without one.

July 4th B ride

Looks like its gonna be very warm Sunday, so its advised to put electrolite replacement drink in one of your bottles.

Slower rider???

Hi, I am more of a 14-15 mph rider. I want to join you and if the group is too fast I will just go on my own!

It Was A Great Ride

We had a great ride! We rode at an average speed of 18 but we were going much faster much of the time--it was fast, but not too fast for anyone in the group. Everyone had a good time, there were no accidents, we had only one mechanical at the end that will go unelaborated. Bob picked a fine route (Nyack the Hilly Way) and led with determination and fine leadership. Consequently, we all had an enjoyable and safe ride. There were several fairly new riders in the group who rode especially well. Big thanks to Bob for leading and to everyone else in the group!
