"Tuesday, June 22nd, the 3rd annual ""longest day of the year"" ride. Leaves Engineers Gate at 5:00 AM. What? 5:00 AM? Are you crazy?! C'mon, it's only one time, one day, a holiday, the Longest Day of the Year. We'll head up River Road to 9W to Nyack for a quick cup of coffee at the Runcible Spoon. Back the same route. It's the best way to avoid the maddening rush hour traffic. I expect we'll be back home before 9:00 AM. So we'll be a little late to work, big deal. Hey, it's only one day. It's for a bike ride. It's the longest day of the year. Invite your friends. Tell them to be there at 5:00 AM. At 5:01 AM we are on the road. There will not be maps, no cue sheets, just go right once you cross the GW Bridge. Stop when you get to the Runcible Spoon. We'll then turn around and come back. The leaders will be setting an ""A"" pace, but anyone is welcome to ride along at whatever pace they'd like. Rain postpones the ride 'till June of 2005.
