Looks like a great climb. What is the nearest train stop to get to glade hill road? Closely approximates a climb in the Central Massif in France.

There's no train service to Sullivan Co. Metro-North has stops in nearby Orange Co & across the river.

Try Some Others
Been up it many times and honestly, its not worth the 50 mile riding effort getting there. Without proper gearing it is simply extended suffering with no views and no other redeeming qualities and grinding it out for however long it takes won't make you a better climber. South Gully Road and Route 44/55 through Minneswaska State Park are far nicer climbs and are also in that region.

Perhaps it is overkill for training but it does give you an idea
Perhaps it is overkill for training but it does give you an idea of what steep is all about. And it isn't addictive.
