"The ""short"" option"

Hank--

So the Goshen-to-Warwick option cuts out about 30 miles from the 112-mile route--but misses the group lunch at Port Jervis. Is my math correct?

If that is so, I may do the full route--provided I get more than three hours sleep.

Actually it is the Warwick to Goshen bail out option...

But, as you said, it cuts out Port Jervis and lunch with the group. It is really a bail out option but can be used as a semi structured ride in Orange County.

OK, so it's the 80-mile bail-out

So when you fail, at least you fail big.

I guess I'll decide when I get there. Thanks.

ride update

The winds will be out of the north and east but are supposed to be less than 10 mph. We won't get a lift on the way back. We will have headwinds but they shouldn't be severe. The temperatures should be great; in the mid 70s.

Hawks Nest is not open so we will save a few miles. The Erie Hotel was fine. A deli option is nearby.
