I am a NYCC member looking to borrow, rent or buy a bicycle travel case (for use from July 6 to July 22.)
I am specifically interested in a hard case (trico or performance) suitable for airplane travel.
If you have one you'd be willing to share or sell please contact me at [email protected].
Thanks!

In search of Bicycle Travel Case to Borrow/Rent or Buy
I have one a new performance case that I will rent to you for $25. Let me know.
I too am an NYCC member looking to borrow or rent a bicycle travel case. My travel dates are July 10-19 and I could pick up and return the case whenever (and in fact could even store it for a while if necessary).
I am specifically interested in a hard case (trico or performance) suitable for airplane travel and big enough for a 61 frame. The case would be used on nonstop Air France flights to and from Paris. (It will be stored by a hotel in Paris while I go chase Lance.)
If you have one you'd be willing to loan please post here or contact me at [email protected].
Thanks,
hannah
I have a case I wouldn't mind lending out at all. I live in Forest Hills Queens so it is probably out of the way for most of you.
If you get desparate I do live near the F train so it's not so difficult to pick up.
I too am a member of the NYCC looking for a case to rent.
My case-renting dates are July 18-August 1.
Nathan, if the previous request does not pan-out let me know.
If anyone else has a case to rent let me know.
Thanks,
Brad Ensminger
It looks like I have lined up a bike case for my trip. Thanks for all the responses--it's great to have such generosity among members!

I have a travel case to lend/rent. It's not a hard case but a strong and solid soft case with an internal frame to hold the bike in place. It's worked great for me on the several different trips I've taken it on. You can view the case at the following web address: http://www.bikeprousa.com/PDF/instruct_race.pdf
Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
I have a trico case that I could lend to anyone who wants to come to Brooklyn to pick it up.
