Does anybody know which brands of biking shoe are cut with a roomier fit? My Nike shoes are too narrow and caused me alot of pain last season, including losing a toenail from the trauma of the tightness (thankfully, it regrew).

Carnacs are know for being roomy and wide. Peral Izumi shoes also tend to have a large toe box.
(Nikes are gennerally pretty narrow.)

carnac, maybe specialized

Carnacs fit my wide feet well. If I remember right, Carnac makes Time's shoes, so they may be an option, too. I also picked up a pair of Specialized road shoes at T-town that fit pretty nice. Definitely a try-before-you-buy kind of situation.

wide shoes

I have the Sidi Megas and although they are pricey, they are worth it! I recommend them.
