Today it closes for renovations and it will be shortly reopened by a new owner, apparently with a new format.

My friend Judy & I will miss the good morning smile and greeting by Terri (who is expecting a baby girl) which came with the yummies. We wish her the best of luck in the future.

I'll now have to cycle another 3 miles to Nyack for my morning bun!

Thanks Jay or the update. With the Community Market closed, where does one get a quick bite in Piermont?

food in Peirmont

There's a deli on the other side of the creek, just west of the loft building. The Community Market looks to re-open soon.

A less expensive, less pretentious market in Piermont.

A little consumer resistance to high prices is a good thing. The market Geoff refers to——it's on the canal road before you come into the village (going north), directly across the one road that crosses the canal——is far cheaper than the Community Market, even if its offerings are less yuppie/tony.

Pregnant from buns?

Oh, is *that* where babies come from? And all this time, I thought it from cabbages, not breakfast buns. Well, live and learn! Or as the ancient folk saying goes, ""Be careful what you feed a woman in the morning, or you may have to send the result to Dubrovnik University 20 hence.""

Your Pal,
