Anyone interested in organizing a bike trip to Boston to attend the MacWorld Expo on July 14, 15, or 16? This annual computer expo has always taken place at Jacob Javits Center, but this year it has been moved to Boston. Email me, if interested.
Thanks

A lot of years ago I biked twice to Boston, both times with a group of maybe 6-7 other people. We did the ride in two days; biked to Orient Point and took the ferry to New London, then to some town on the other side of the Thames River where we stayed and they biked to Logan Airport and flew home. I may have old cue sheets somewhere but they were done by a strange person so are like no cue sheets you've ever seen.

I might have been on that ride

"As I recall, there were gypsy moth caterpillars dangling from all the trees and they'd munched all the leaves off them so we had no shade. It was hot. Dodging face level caterpillars was no fun.

The ""strange cue sheets"" were called strip maps. Simplified, not to scale, representations of the route and major cross roads with mileage indicated at various points.

With the advent of wide-spread use of accurate bike computers, written cue sheets have replaced strip maps- less info, but more accurate."
