It's supposed to be raining when we get up, any B-18s up for a quick Nyack/Piermont/Park Ridge etc at 11 or noon when it gets clear?? It is supposed to be in the 60s in the afternoon.
Saturday early rain... late ride??
"This little Siggie has a rain jacket.

This little Siggie's survived being wet-to-the-bone.
This little Siggie can deal with a chain that goes wee-wee-wee all the way home.
Or as one riding buddy once put it: ""what do you think you pay a fancy spa to have someone splash fresh rainwater in your face?""
Yes, the leaders must decide, and safety always matters. But let's ride one way or another!

this should be saved on the site somewhere...
If you're still thinking of going, please post when and where you propose to meet.
Any update from the A-19 sig leaders on whether we ride today or reschedule for tomorrow?
Michael proposed the ride, so it's his prerogative to decide time and place.
BUT, I notice that the B17 STS is going off from Engineers Gate at 10. Would it make sense to meet there at 10 as well and either (i) join that ride or (ii) start a second one a few minutes behind it?
Peter
so is there a ride going out from engineer's gate at 10am?
I'm happy to leave as early as practical. If it is clear by 10AM; I would want to be with the STS from engineers gate. If not I propose 11AM, if that is not good then 12 Noon. I just want to ride today as I am having ribs for dinner and am planning a hangover for tomorrow morning.
So let's aim for 11, but watch this board.
A small number of us B-SIGs will be meeting at engineer's gate at 10. This, of course, is NOT an organized B-SIG ride but an informal gathering. A B-STS ride leader said we could tag along.
My guess is that 11AM is optimistic, 10 AM quite unrealistic and noon should be okay.
If it is still raining at noon then I'm back in the gym for a spin session (boo hoo)
Engineers gate is the meeting spot
