I have very lightly used Performance Rollers for sale. They have the PVC drums. They are in great shape. I am selling them for $50. I believe this is less then half price. This is a great way to find out if you like rollers. If you are interested send me an email.

Rollers for sale

I also have some rollers for sale. They are the new Travel Trac™ Velodrome Parabolic Rollers from Performance. I purchased them 2 months ago and have ridden them for only about 2 hours. Performance has them on sale now for $170. I'd be happy to sell them for $100 and possibly deliver them in the NYC area.

Riding on rollers has never been so easy. The unique parabolic shape of the PVC drums give you more control, making it harder to ride off the sides. The smaller central diameter of the rollers increases workload and offers a more vigorous work out for the serious rider. Perfectly balanced drums with smooth running sealed cartridge bearings mounted to a durable powder-coated foldable steel frame provide the smoothest ride ever. Adjusts to fit wheelbases: 37” – 43”. Compatible with optional Roller Mag resistance unit and front stabilizer

Start a new thread.

Start a new thread. You'll get more attention that way. Also consider Craigslist.com

green rollers - here's fine

Keep it. Active threads with more than one post defintitely get more attention and is most appropriate. Craigslist.com is a good next-try suggestion (it's hard to beat free, as in here). With this boards activity, an attractively priced product and a fresh batch of white stuff, you should be seeing the green stuff roll in soon.

"If anyone is keeping track, my wife also thinks I'm an idiot for not starting a new thread. My reasoning was the same as Peter's. However, I'll pay an ""idiot tax"" of $10 by dropping the price of the rollers to $90."

you could also try...

ebay!!!! I've always done much better as a seller than as a buyer. Have at it.

david is right...craigslist is where you go to get stuff fast and cheap. ebay is where you sell. ;)

Thank you all for your advice. I agree; I myself have had quite a bit of luck selling things on both craigslist and ebay.

However, whenever I meet with someone from craigslist I always experience a small feeling of worry- i.e. who is this stranger and should I really be letting them into my apartment? (I might add that these fears have been completely unfounded- everyone that I have done business with on craigslist has been great)

On the other hand, I (perhaps erroneously) feel no such worry when I meet with other NYCC members. For example, I sold my wife's slightly used road bike to an A-19 SIG participant last week who was looking for a used bike on this message board. We have a common interest (cycling), are members of the same group (NYCC) and it was a smooth comfortable transaction for both of us.

So my plan was to try NYCC for a couple of days and then post on craigslist.

As for Ebay, I'm too lazy to find a box for those rollers :) Although now that I think of it, I could just take them to the UPS store...

Again, thank you all for your suggestions.
