PROSPECT PARK-NEW CAR HOURS
just curious...what are the central park car hours?
From the site:
11-22-2003
To alleviate traffic congestion during the holiday season, the Central Park drives will remain open on weekdays beginning Monday, November 24, through December 31.
The drives will be closed to automobile traffic at 7:00 p.m. the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, and reopen the day after these holidays at 6:00 a.m. The drives will also be closed on weekends, closing Fridays at 7:00 p.m. and reopening Mondays at 6:00 a.m.
Yes,
It's all cars all the time in CP until New Years. Sandwiched between speeding traffic and pedestrians who insist on walking & running in the bike lane we'll be lucky if there are no fatalities.
Scary - but the Hudson Greenway may be the safest riding venue on the island 'till the park is closed to traffic again.

except weekends
