We will be leaving the Boathouse at 8:05 sharp! Please come BEFORE 8:00 to sign up and get your cue sheet.

Due to the many miles and limited daylight, we're only going to have three stops (no longer than 15 minutes each), so please bring pocket food and liquids and be prepared to keep it moving! You'll have a chance to lounge and chow down on the train ride home---we'll make a detour for foot-long Subway sandwiches close to the Metro North Beacon station.

The forecast is for great biking weather this weekend---so come join us!

bailouts?

Will there be any opportunities to catch a train earlier than beacon? I want to do this ride but need to be back in the city before 6pm

Bailout

You can bailout by bus at Tuxedo, or possibly detour over to Garrison. Train home is at least 1 1/2 hours from Beacon.

Great Job Mai and Bill

Mai Yee and Bill Moss put together a great, challenging route that was enjoyed by all on a wonderfully warm autumn day.

Vertical ascent of ride 6000'

Thanks to Mai and Bill on a fine ride on a fine day.
And the vertical ascent of ride 6000' will not be doubted by anyone who was on it.
