The majority of members have access to a computer.
The majority of members care most about the ride listings.
The ride listings should not require more than a two week lead time (frankly two days is enough).
Put the rides on line!
Let those who want to write articles post them online whenever they want.
Let those who care about paper copies do their own bulletin and not hold back the rest of the club with deadlines and extra work.
What works well is this website (kudos to those who maintain it), lets take advantage of it!!!

macromedia contribute

"many of the big ad/design/marketing firms i support swear by this:

Macromedia Contribute

i've seen it in action. intuitive. cross-platform. it's group collaboration and content management software. very easy to set up and use.

the webmaster controls the site (design, layout, etc.) while allowing specific people to go in and edit content.

Paper Bulletin

I too like the paper bulletin. I don't care if it is late. I cared a bit more when I wasn't getting the weekly e-mail ride listings for the first half of the year; I thought that they weren't doing that any more; then I found out that between Active.com and the club my name had been mispelled when I renewed my membership.
