Brooklyn side of Brooklyn Bridge (at the end of the bike path) ................8:00 AM

Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike-Staute of Civic Virtue @ Queen Blvd.......9:00 AM

We ride out to Union Tpk on Myrtle Ave, and then ride the northshore to Northport, via
Oyster Bay. Stops will be about every 30 miles, so bring at least 2 water bottles and
pocket food. The terrain is beautiful, rolling, no killer climbs, but still challenging. The
pace will be steady, with re-grouping at hill tops, if necessary. Bail-out at Northport for
about 60 miles, or along the way back at the many LIRR stations. Remember your
Bicycle Permit! The ride ends at Kew Gardens, where we subway it back.
