In advance of an upcoming addition to our family, I need to find away to store my bicycle in the apartment. I'm thinking of some kind of rack system that could get the bike off the floor (mounted or hanging high up but not attached to the ceiling per se as we have old plaster ceilings.)
Suggestions?

I have the oak one that basically gets wedged between the floor and ceiling. I've got around an 11 foot ceiling. I bought an extra set of bike holders and have three bikes hanging off it. Looks great.
