Anyone know of a bookstore in NYC with an exceptionally good cycling section? Training guides and travelogues welcome alike.
Thanks,

Colliseum Books (sigh...gone but not forgotten) had a darned good cycling section. Rumor has it they're going to reopen. Anyone know where or when?
Coliseum has leased a space around 41st/42nd and 5th Ave. I don't remember when they're reopening--maybe by fall. I'm looking forward to it too!
"That's welcome news. They did have a good section, as these things go -- got my copy of ""Bicycling Science"" there, not long before the end.
Anyplace else spring to mind that might be open still?"

Hi,
I was there around 10:30am. Same wooden book shelves. Looks a lot wider. Checked the cycling section--only two notable books on the history of Tour de France, put a primer on recreational bike touring.
They should get better selections in time.
By the way, Strand had a bike section in the sports area, downstairs. Downstairs also had a cold water drinking fountain, with a filter. A couple of years ago, I got books on cycling in Hawaii, half price. Don't know about now...
