In preparation for the BK Pave ride on April 13, there is a possibility that I can reserve the television room of a new restaurant in Dumbo to watch the finishing hour(s) of Paris Roubaix on OLN. The restaurant would be at the end of the morning's BK Pave ride, though non-riders could certainly attend as well. Meet fellow NYCC'ers, your friends, S.O., family or anyone else you care to invite! Lunch (brunch?) would be available along with secure bicycle parking in the building for those who decide to participate in the morning ride.

If there is enough real interest, I will look into the possibility in more detail. Feel free to post to the message board or email directly.

thanks

Do they serve Duvel, Chimay, Orval ...

... Corsendonk, LaChouffe, Delerium Tremens, Saison DuPont or any of the 400+ other Belgian brews?

Extremely important.

It sounds fun. I have to get the steel bike ready. I suppose that those who ride will get a good mud covering. Will there be a cobblestone prize?

Well, Bud Lite and chips will do also. Unless the DUMBO restaurant is the River Cafe ;-)But April 13, count me in so far.

I think I'm going to Bruxelles for dinner tonight.
