Do Wheel Suckers Have No Shame?
Some clown drafted off me for over 30 minutes while I was out for a ride on the LIE Service Road this morning.
This 10+ stretch was interrupted very briefly only when we went up the incline just after Post Road. (Little does he know that it's not much of an accomplishment to pass the Big Fella on an incline.) It was then that I saw that the asshat wasn't even wearing a helmet.
When I turned left in order to start my trip home he continued on straight without even so much as an acknowledgement or a "thank you".

Elmsford missing link in South and North County Trailways to be completed
At the dedication of the newest section of the South County Trailway last week, Westchester County Exec Astorino announced that the county is purchasing necessary easements and will soon begin design of the last remaining piece ....presently a nasty section that takes cyclists off the path and through industrial Elmsford.

Need help planning a ride
I have entered a new ride plan onto www.mapmyride.com It is listed as, 'Princeton to New Hope' and provides the route for a ride I have done myself a couple dozen times in years gone past.
I need some help working out the hundreds of other details, which include taking NJTransit from Penn Station to Princeton Junction, and riding to the Borough (not sure this would be a good idea as roads into the Borough are a bit treacherous), or taking the Dinky connector train from Princeton Junction into the Borough; but this might be tricky as the Dinky is only one or 2 cars and might be cramped with a bunch of bikes.
Also, I have never lead a ride before, so I will need to enlist the aid of an experienced co-leader.
