Interbike Show
A few parts of the 2014 Interbike show will be on Verizon, #804(HD) on Friday September 26 at 8PM.
Also it will be shown on Saturday, 9/27 at 6:30 AM and again at 12 noon, same #804.
Hudson Terrace update
The road is looking awesome as far as it goes, but you'll need to ride milled roadway till it's finished. I was able to ride the western sidewalk from the gwb to Strictly, where I turned left and went up to Lemoine. The milling takes quite a toll on the hands after a bit. Coming home, I again took the sidewalk almost all the way to the bridge. The roadway is paved now, but only one lane of traffic (north-going) was getting through. I was assured it will be DONE by Saturday for ENY!
36 hours in central park
not a single shot of a cyclist, or even a tourist on a bike, in central park.

Fixed Gear for ENY
I have a friend I'm trying to convince riding ENY (and joining the club). Although I strongly recommended that he ride a road bike, he is considering riding his fixed gear.
The question is, are fixed gear bikes allowed for the ENY event.
Thanks.
Seeking Route advice
I am planning to do a ride with a buddy later this week and am looking for guidence. We will drive to somewhere near the Bear Mountain bridge or Cold Spring..and then want to do either a loop encompassing Bear Mnt, The BM bridge and the Newburg Bridge or a loop through Harriman and Bear Mnt. Something around 50 - 55 miles.
I have checked lots of routes on RidewithGPS the NYCC Library etc but a line on a map tells me nothing about the surrounding beauty of the terrain or suitability of the roads.
If someone has a GPS file of a great route.. plus knows of good safe parking start points I would be very grateful.
