...is the best way to get to the LIRR?

I've only used Penn for NJT bike routes so kind of a newbie with where to gather for LIRR trains?

Do you still go into the "old" Penn or is it better to use the new Moynihan facility?

I'll be coming over on 31st Street.

I'm very sad to share that Champion Bikes on Amsterdam by 104th is shuttered. Marcos (sp?) did great work on my fleet, never complaining about old steel bikes or grit, and finding solutions where others failed. I was last there in late August for a new cog for my internal hub, which made my commuter bike smooth again. He said at the time that he was planning to take off for two weeks in late October. Not sure what happened in the interim, but the nearby bodega says there was a rent issue. I hope he is OK and that he will pop up to wrench somewhere else.

When riding back into NYC from GW,  i find it scarey to ride thru bus terminal.  Very dark , no dedicated bike lane and traffic all over.  An accident just  waiting.   Does anyone have any info if that section will be safety enhanced. ??
