I received a bike as a gift for the holidays so I do not need these parts I was putting together to build up a new bike. I am selling them at a great discount just to get rid of them.

Used 10 Speed Shimano cassette and chain

Submitted by FLeffel on Sun, 12/25/2011 - 2:14pm

Swapped out my rear cassette last year for one with wider gearing,  and the old one, plus the chain, have been sitting in a box on my desk ever since. They have about about 4,000 miles on them, but they had been  working fine. Yours for the taking. Would rather see them in a new home/on a bike than part of a landfill.

Cassette is  11, 12, 13, 14,15,16,17,19, 21 and 23.   The  old cassette and chain were OEM on an otherwise Dura Ace - equipped bike, but when the bike mechanic replaced them with the new stuff, he pointed out that neither the the cassette nor chain were DA. Chain is Ultegra, but not 100% certain about the cassette. Shimano Ultegra or 105 perhaps.

Used Rolf Vector Pro Wheelset - $100 (both wheels) obo

Submitted by RRamon on Tue, 12/20/2011 - 3:00pm

Rolf Vector Pro Wheelset (purchased in 1998) - Mavis skewers included but no cassette or tires/tubes.  Silver with no decals.  Completely relaced about 7 yeas ago at Trek factory with about 4,000 miles since then (about 12,000 before all spokes replaced).

Asking $100 or best offer.  Wheels are true.  Cost me about $800 in 1998 and about $200 to relace with all new spokes.  Little use since I had the wheels relaced at Trek factory with new spokes.

Geniue Canon Camera Battery plus chargers LOW PRICE

Submitted by RRamon on Tue, 12/20/2011 - 2:34pm

About 1 1/2 years ago I purchased a new Canon NB-2LH battery thinking that was the problem with my Canon S-70.  It wasn't the problem so I wasted about $50.  I subsequently discarded the camera and now I have two batteries (one barely used and the other about 4 years of minimal usage).  Plus I have two Canon CB-2LT chargers

The batteries new are about $40 each.  The chargers are about $20 each.

I'm selling all for $25.

Need to buy decent beater/commuter bicycle

Submitted by bomberpete on Wed, 12/14/2011 - 10:21am

Are you looking to sell a decent beater/commuter bicycle?

After nearly 18 years and way too many miles together, my GT Force commuter bike and I must finally part ways.

If you’ve got a road, hybrid, folder or mountain bike, straight or dropped bars, in good condition, you’re not using it, and are willing to let it go for under $250, let me know: [email protected].

Multiple gears only – fixies need not apply.

Both Ellen and Grace suggested I put a notice in the forum, though Ellen feared Someone may scream to her, but the frames sound of interest to members.

I have a handful of new hand-brazed lugged track bike frames made in a small family factory (since 1919) near Venice, Italy. Their brand is Iride (said like iridescent up to the s, or ERIE-deh). They are super light and beautiful. Made from top-of-the-line Columbus SL Niobium triple butted steel alloy. They are sleek with no drilling for brakes or anything else. The fork has curved blades and hole for brake. I have sizes 47, 52, 54, 56, 59. (Note: not actually smuggled)
