I'm new to NYCC and to biking in general.  I was lucky to set a spot on the C-Sig.  

I learned that I had to ride with a spare tube, so I went to trusty Amazon and ordered one.  When it came, it was in a HUGE box!  "No way I can fit that thing in my under-the-seat pouch thingy," I thought to myself.  Hmm.  

On my next C-Sig ride (great ride Tamara!) I asked other people about their bike tubes.  They all showed me itty bitty ones.  So then I went to my local bike store, asked them, and they sold me a cute little tube.

Looking for a road bike to buy (very cheaply, couple hundred) or borrow for 4 months for a student from Amsterdam visiting my partner's laboratory.

We will send her to Craigslist, but just wondering if anyone has something sitting around that they wouldn't mind lending (starting now) or selling for cheap. She probably needs ~52 cm.

Complete 2010 Powertap SL system (wired -- *not* ANT+) power meter for sale. Condition of the head computer, connecting wire harness, heart-rate strap, spoke magnet, and power hub are all excellent. Super accurate watts; before removing it from my bike I did a "hanging weight" test on it and the torque reading was dead-on. I recently rebuilt the hub, so the bearings are relatively new and are nice and smooth. Campagnolo freehub, but the body is removable and replaceable. The hub is even built into a good wheel (32 Sapim bladed black spokes, black Velocity Aerohead OS rim).
