This bag is a soft case, but has a frame mount which is very secure and the only thing you need to disassemble is your wheels (and optional your rear derailleur if you are persnickity, like me).  It technically is considered oversize luggage due to its demensions but I get charged a fee on average 25% of the time ("trade show equipment").  Wheels work great.

Many of you are aware that cycling in the Berkshires is fantastic. If you don't already know this, you now have the change
 to find out for yourself. I have been riding there more in the last couple of years since we completed our new home in
 Alford, Mass, which is just outside Great Barrington in Southern Berkshire County. 

Whenever I’m riding there by myself I think how great it would be to share these beautiful routes with fellow cyclists.
