Great First Road Bike for Female Rider

Submitted by CristinaG on Wed, 01/07/2015 - 4:31pm

I'm looking to sell my 52-cm 2012 Giant Avail Inspire. I'm asking for $700 or best offer for a bike that cost $1360 in 2012. I've ridden it maybe two dozen times total in two years -- and that's not because I don't love it. It's a fab bike and I'm sad to get rid of it, but I can't fit anymore bikes in a tiny studio. Please let me know if you're interested in checking her out.

Here's the website with more information: giant-bicycles[DOT]com/en-us/bikes/model/avail.inspire/9048/55350/

I'm based in Brooklyn and can meet you in Prospect Park if you want to take her out for a spin. Just drop my a line at cristinagoyanes[at]gmail[dot]com. Thanks!

Nice wheels for sale

Submitted by velofellow on Sun, 01/04/2015 - 1:33pm

I am selling a somewhat used, sort-of-new wheelset.  The wheels were built in July by Bill at Piermont Bike and were used for about two months.  The rims, spokes and skewers were all new at that time.  The hubs are a few years old.  (The DT stickers are starting to peel a bit.)  I am the original owner of the hubs and this is only the second set of rims to be laced to to them.  Specs are as follows:

Front: DT 240s hub (32 hole), DT Revoution spokes 3X, HED Belgium rim (23mm), FSA rim strip, Velocity QR (black), 734 grams *

Rear: DT 240 Campagnolo compatible hub (32 hole) w/DT lock ring, DT Competition spokes 3X, HED Belgium rim (23mm), FSA rim strip, Velocity QR (black), 925 grams *

Hi

I am looking for a room to rent, ideally from a cycling or cycling friendly person.

Anyone have a spare room or soon departing roommate? or perhas know of someone looking for a roommate.

I recently arrived in NYC from London and work as the head of a Swiss Fashion company based in mid town.

Thanks,

John
