Springtime. . . . .
The world thinks spring begins March 20th, 2017. Not so! Springtime begins the second Tuesday in February at the New York Cycle Club membership meeting. It is on that Tuesday the SIG’s begin. It’ll be a big meeting – maybe 200 members attending. We’re going to get a flavor of the SIG’s, the STS’s, the Racing team – it’s springtime in the NYCC – a most exciting time of year! Join a SIG, have fun on your bike, meet best friends in life, learn to be a better/safer cyclist – what could be better than that?
It is particularly interesting that the SIG Membership meeting occurs on February 14th this year, on Valentine’s Day. For those who study astrology – “the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial objects as a means for divining information about human affairs and terrestrial events” – February 14th and the SIG are very much connected. Know why? Come to the meeting and you’ll learn why.
Do you know that Valentine’s Day falls on the second Tuesday of the month only one time every 297 years – don’t miss our once in a lifetime membership meeting this February 14th.
