Essential Yoga Poses for Cyclists

Our presenter Laura Kauffmann explains:
"Yoga asana has become the standard physical practice for full body stretching these days and I have found that it has not only enhanced my riding, but also has made my life better on so many levels. The time you spend on the mat will not only decrease your chance of injury, it will offer you tools to get through those harder workouts on the bike as well as mastering challenging life changes with ease. We’ll view what I think are the top five essential yoga poses that each cyclist should add to their cycling tool kit."

Presenter Biography - Laura Kauffmann

Laura Kauffmann (LAc, HHC, RYT) is a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specializing in acupuncture, health coaching and yoga therapy.
"I have been living, breathing and fine tuning these practices for the last 20 years. My approach to healing is multi-faceted  and collaborative. We are all unique beings and therefore, require a unique path to wellness. My yoga practice and teaching focuses on providing therapeutic cues to the athlete and the healer.  I have shaped my teaching around the many injuries I have had, but no longer suffer from since adding yoga to my life."
