Event Description: NYCC members are warmly welcome to join Bicycle Club of Philadelphia's annual Fall Foliage Weekend in Hanover/Gettysburg, PA, October 23-25, 2015. This is an all-inclusive, 3-day package tour, providing:
- Friday & Saturday nights at hotel,
- Saturday & Sunday breakfasts,
- Friday & Saturday dinners,
- cue sheets & maps,
- routes for a wide range of distances,
- off-road trails, as well as road cycling,
- group rides with leaders,
- parties,
- snacks and sandwiches to take along on rides,
- massage therapist at the hotel on Saturday afternoon for post-ride massages, and more.
The cycling in this scenic part of central PA is through green countryside and peaceful farmlands, as well as quaint towns and Civil War landmarks, especially the awe-inspiring Battlefield in Gettysburg. For cyclists traveling with non-cyclist family members, there are abundant attractions to visit.
