As seen in today's NY Times, the Big Apple Tweed bike event is a short ride that goes near Prospect Park, with an old British style theme (e.g. English type cycles, tweed clothing). Begins at 11AM at Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn. Visit to a clothing bontique, a Dixieland concert and brunch included on the route. Looks tempting to go, but I have no tweed jacket.
