Bicycle Sunday on the Bronx River Parkway

Sunday, September 25, 2022 09:00 AM

Yes, Parkway! You read that right! It's a Westchester tradition: The Bronx River Parkway, 6.5 miles from Scarsdale Rd in Yonkers to the Westchester County Center in White Plains, will be closed to cars and open to bicycles. Whoopee!
Ring out the old year and ring in the new (5783, if you're counting) with a short ride that should get you home in time to celebrate. Meet in Van Cortlandt Park, 242nd St & Broadway, 2 blocks south of the rest rooms, at 9:00. We will ride as a group on roads and greenways but you're free to go at your own pace on the parkway. Lunch in Hartsdale; bring your own or buy at a deli or bakery in town.
