West Point Ride doc has all the details.
Join the waitlist as we work on increasing ride capacity!
We begin by pacelining to The 9W Market where we can top off our water and riders can exchange speed groups before the real fun begins. A brief brunch stop around 10:00 AM at Mt. Ivy Diner to fuel up before enjoying the fantastic roads around Storm King mountain with amazing views.
We will pass by West Point Military Academy and their Labor Day celebrations and a few miles afterwards we refuel with some coffee and sweets at 2 Alices coffee before making our way to the end-of-ride celebration at the Two Way Brewing Company before catching the train back to NYC.
Route: 75 miles, 4,420 ft climbing
Download the Ride with GPS Route or print a cue sheet. There will several different speed groups so all riders can find the group that works best for them. Well add the leaders and speed groups here soon.
Riders should be confident, self-sufficient cyclists who are comfortable with the Safety Skills. While this is a drop ride if you ride off the front or back we will all work together to complete the ride and celebrate at the end. Please bring two water bottles, electrolytes, pocket food, inner tubes, a means of inflation, and a smile.
