Are you new to cycling?

Have you been cycling for a while and would like to improve your skills, fitness and confidence on the bike?

Do you want to meet new cycling friends that you can ride with regularly?

The NYCC's signature spring training and development program will help you accomplish your cycling goals in 2024. You will hone your group riding skills and experience the joys of accomplishing a challenge as a group.

Designed for cyclists of all levels, the SIG is an immersive training series that teaches the skills required for safe group riding via 8-10 consecutive weekend training rides that increase in speed and distance. 

The SIG is offered at A, B and C levels. Many NYCC members have participated in sequential SIG programs (i.e. riding in the C-SIG then the B-SIG the following year; then A-Classic) in order to build upon their skills.

Every year, our NYCC February meeting is the place that our nationally recognized SIG, and other training/racing team programs, officially begins.

Our dedicated SIG/STS/Racing Team Coordinators will provide you with the highlights of their specific programs to help you decide which of our varied training/racing programs is for you. All of our training programs begin in March, so to be ready for our jam-packed spring training/racing season you really need to be attend this meeting!
