NYCC Discord Community

NYCC Discord is where members of all levels stay connected, share updates, ask questions, and keep the conversation going between rides. It’s easy to use, and you’ll always find a friendly, diverse community ready to chat. Not sure what Discord is? Think of it as a big group text for the club, but organized into different channels for topics like rides, routes, gear, and casual chat.

Discord is an app that does not sell your info, and will not result in unwanted spam.  It started as a gamer's app, but has evolved and tons of communities use it. You can control notifications. It support text chat within our community hub, direct messaging, as well as voice and video - sometimes we use a voice channel on virtual rides so the group can chat, for example.  The Discord has channels for discussion of all sorts of biking-related questions, as well as gear swapping and selling, ask the Board, etc.

NYCC Discord access is available to NYCC members.
Members can join the NYCC Discord server from the link in their account details after logging in.  You can download the app on mobile or PC (recommended), or use it through a browser.

Once you join the NYCC Discord, you will be able to read but not post in our channel.  Posting permissions have to be granted manually, so please be patient for 1-2 days while someone gets to you.  If there are issues, email webmaster@nycc.org.
