First Aid For Cyclists by Edward Fishkin, MD

Description:  The First Aid For Cyclists seminar is designed specifically for cyclists to help you understand the role of the first responder in collecting information, keeping the injured cyclist(s) safe till help arrives, and minimizing the chance others will be injured. Common cycling related injuries and other road related medical emergencies will be reviewed. Suggestions for a personal first aid kit will be also given.

Who:  Dr. Fishkin is a board certified internist and associate professor at the NYU School of Medicine. He is a long term cyclist and NYCC member who lead the A-Classic SIG for many years and founded and captained the A-19 SIG between 2000 and 2010.
