It’s the beginning of Day Five. Amy gathers the riders and goes through the itinerary on this morning’s ride, considered the “Flagship Ride” of the tour.

We set out and head toward Going-to-the-Sun Road which has been called one of the most beautiful rides in the country.

Our ride itinerary for today is simply listed the on sign in this photo.

Passing through the Rising Sun campground. This campground provides easy access to Going-to-the-Sun Road from the East.

Entering the start of Going-to-the-Sun Road near St. Mary Lake.

The only road hazard that we encountered on today’s ride. Glacier National Park is the center of one of the largest intact ecosystems in the United States.

St. Mary Lake and Wild Goose Island are one of the most photographed scenes in Glacier National Park. The view on this photo includes Little Chief Mt., Dusty Star Mt., Gunsight Mt., Fusillade Mt., Reynolds Mt., Heavy Runner Mt., and Going-to-the-Sun Mt.
