We started our third day with breakfast and an amazing view of Waterton Lakes National Park from the hotel’s Lobby Lounge. There’s nothing like a view of a vast emerald lake where the Mountains meet the Prairie.

Waiting for the startof the ride outside the hotel. A morning mist covers the Canadian Rockies and Waterton Lakes National Park.

In the midst of the sodium sky, the sun finally breaks through.

One of the traditional historic Red Bus Tour buses arrives to pick up guests at The Prince of Wales Hotel. Its original charm still remains the same since the 1930’s.

And we’re off. Andrea, one of our guides at Trek Travel, leads the group to Cameron Lake.

Passing through the Park’s endless maze of mountains.

“There’s nothing like a headwind on an uphill to start your morning,” said Andrea. Yeah, right. The route to Cameron Lake is ALL uphill.
