The second day begins. Rick and I get ready to head out to start the ride with the view of Two Medicine Lake behind us.

The view of Two Medicine valley with it’s emerald waters.

Another view of Two Medicine valley.

Riding with the clouds and heading towards Canada’s Waterton Lakes National Park. It was a misty morning at the start and the temperature was in the 40s.

Taking shelter at St. Mary’s Lodge as the mist turned into sleet. We had lunch prepared for us and our guides provided us with coffee and hot tea.

The rain finally subsided and we are back on the road again. The sign ahead is pretty much our destination for the day.

The trails to the park are open to stock (i.e. horses, cows, mules, and donkeys). We had to be alert most of the time because some of the herd are quite sluggish when they are on the roadway.
